THE MISSION OF GREENVILLE FAMILY PARTNERSHIP IS TO PREVENT CHILDREN AND YOUTH FROM USING TOBACCO, ALCOHOL, DRUGS AND OTHER HARMFUL SUBSTANCES.

WE ARE BUILDING HEALTHY DRUG FREE COMMUNITIES ONE PERSON AT A TIME THROUGH EDUCATION AND PARTNERING WITH FAMILIES AND COMMUNITIES.

This grant will be used to establish Safe Homes groups throughout Greenville County; create a parent community by connecting Safe Homes groups via a website and other means; implement a targeted media campaign; and support community forums and discussion. Parents can work together to create an environment which nurtures and protects young people from the devastating consequences of underage drinking.

“The four-year STOP grant will allow GFP to expand its parent network throughout Greenville County and thereby have a greater impact on preventing and reducing underage drinking,” said Carol Reeves, Executive Director of Greenville Family Partnership. “We are extremely grateful to SAMHSA for this grant opportunity and we intend to compliment existing community underage drinking initiatives. This will increase the impact of our Drug-Free Communities project.”
